Eugene du Toit Mediation
Compassionate, child-centred mediation for separation, divorce, and parenting matters.
Compassionate, child-centred mediation for separation, divorce, and parenting matters.
With more than 30 years’ experience working with children and families in special education, my path into family law mediation is grounded in a deep understanding of how conflict affects children. I have seen firsthand how unresolved parental disputes can undermine a child’s sense of safety—and how respectful communication and structured support can restore stability and trust.
As a qualified family law mediator, trained cum laude through the NABFAM-accredited Mediation Academy and an accredited member of SAAM, I offer a calm, neutral, and child-centred approach to mediation. I create a confidential, supportive space where difficult conversations can happen constructively, power imbalances are carefully managed, and children’s best interests remain central.
My role is not to take sides or impose outcomes, but to help families reach practical, sustainable agreements that support long-term wellbeing—especially for their children.
Mediation is a faster, more affordable, and less formal alternative to the courtroom. Instead of a judge imposing a decision, a neutral mediator helps you and your partner find a fair, collaborative solution that puts your family’s needs first—especially when children are involved.
